FAQs

1) How do I clean my Sheepskin/Toscana garments?
We do not recommend cleaning of a Sheepskin/Toscana Jacket until it's had at least 5–6 years wear. This allows the coat to get soiled all over rather than just the front panels, however if it has excess soiling it may need cleaning sooner. Although cleaning can improve the appearance of a soiled garment, it cannot restore it to new condition; many customers never have their garments cleaned.
Always go to a specialist Sheepskin Dry Cleaner.

2) What about repairs and alterations?
We offer an excellent service to Nursey jackets. If alternations and repairs are required we recommend returning them in the pring or early summer periods as winter is our busiest time.

3) What happens if my coat gets wet?
We do not recommend wearing in heavy rain. If you get caught in a shower, let your garment dry at room temperature – e.g. on the back of a chair. Do not force-dry your garment over heat.

4) Can I dry clean Napa leather?
Napa finish Jackets (e.g. Flying Jackets) are not dry cleanable, as the Napa finish is sprayed on. Ignore scratches to the surface – most people think it looks more rugged, and prefer a worn-in look.

5) How should I store my garment?
Always hang on a hanger to retain the shape of your garment; we recommend buttoned up. Never leave your garment on a hook (except for short periods).
